BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The 2022 Futures Game is just around the corner and the Bowling Green Hot Rods have two former players selected.
Infielder Curtis Mead and pitcher Taj Bradley have both been picked to participate in this year’s game.
Both were a part of the Hot Rods 2021 championship squad last season.
Manager Jeff Smith is super excited to see his former players perform at Dodger Stadium.
“{They’re} two guys that both wore uniforms here last year,” Jeff Smith said. “I think both of them are tremendous baseball players and are good characters guys, too.”
The MLB All-Star Futures Game is set for July 16th at 6 pm central time.
