Road project begins in Warren County

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A pavement maintenance project on I-165 in Warren County began Sunday, April 10.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said Motorists can expect lane closures on I-165 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night from U.S. 231 Scottsville Road to near the I-65 interchange.

Crews will be working on pavement crack sealing in this section of I-165 in advance of roadway resurfacing that will take place later in the year.

Once the pavement crack sealing is finished on the mainline on I-165, crews will move onto ramps on I-165 interchange with I-65.

More information will be available once the timeline is known for the ramp work. Motorists should caution while traveling in this area.
