Offered same day hiring at career fair

GLASGOW, Ky. – T.J. Health Pavilion Community Center is using same day hiring to fill upward of 40 job openings

The hospital used this career fair to fill their entry level positions including certified nursing assistants, housekeeping, food service workers and so on.

T.J. Samson, like most other hospitals across the nation, lost some of their staff in 2020.

Executive vice president of human resources Ladonna Rogers said, “When the pandemic was gearing up, a lot of people self-selected to get out of healthcare. They didn’t take the risk. They didn’t want to take it home to their families. Now that the pandemic is winding down, we are encouraging people to come back.

The hospital says they are trying to expedite their hiring process in this labor force shortage, and they’re offering big incentives…

“We have a lot of opportunities in continuing education and benefits. We will pay for your entire education, and we will do everything we can to make it as seamless as possible for you.”

…and lots of room to climb the work ladder.

“You’ll have an opportunity to see other careers that you might want to grow with. We have everything in our organization from plumbers to pharmacist, so everything you want to be we can help you be it “
