BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Readers of all ages are holding their newly signed book copies from their favorite authors thanks to the Southern Kentucky Book Fest.

SOKY Bookfest partnered with Barnes & Noble, the Warren County Public Library and the Warren County Public Library for their 23rd annual event.

Vatishi Harrison, author of huge children’s book Hair Love, and 80’s Brat-pack heartthrob-turned-author Andrew McCarthy both attended.

Local authors couldn’t have been more thrilled.

Warren County Public Library community outreach manager and local author Court Stevens said, “I think it’s been a great turnout. For me as an author, I sold through two boxes of books and had to go back to the car. As an author, you always want that thing to happen, and I hope it happens for everyone here.”

Stevens said coming back after Covid-19 shut down the last two years was a long-awaited blessing.
