Adventure locally at Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo; peacocks, camels, anteaters & baby critters everywhere!
MAMMOTH CAVE, Ky. – If you’re looking for a local adventure while the weather’s warming up, there’s many things to do right here in South Central Kentucky.
The Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo saw so many of you last year, leading to their best summer yet.
As the weather starts warming up, so does Mammoth Cave tourism. The whole family can interact with the animals, walk along the peacocks, take selfies with Mammoth, the largest horse breed in the world, feed the kangaroo and chat with the parakeets.
Brian Dale joined the Mammoth Cave team nine years ago, and the animals have become his second family.
“This is a great family attraction where you can bring the kids out and let them meet animals and nature in a natural environment and let them interact with them,” said Dale.
