2026 Green River Catfish Festival schedule released

MORGANTOWN, Ky. – An annual Butler County event returns next month.

The 2026 Green River Catfish Festival, hosted in Morgantown, will take place from June 20 through July 4.

Organizers say the family-friendly event will feature live entertainment, family fun, contests, activities, and vendors.

Highlights include the Toughest Race on the Green 5K Walk/Run on June 20, a basketball tournament on June 27, and 4-H exhibits opening July 2.

The carnival will run July 2-4, culminating in live music and a fireworks show on July 4.
