1 flown, 1 transported after side-by-side crash in Livingston County

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky. – One person was flown following a crash in Livingston County.
According to a social media post by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, on Wednesday around 10 a.m., first responders were dispatched to Maxield Road in the Burna area for a single-vehicle collision involving a side-by-side.
Authorities say a preliminary investigation shows the side-by-side was occupied by 18-year-old Kobe Lewis of Paducah and 18-year-old Parker Mansfield of West Paducah.
The vehicle left the road and overturned multiple times, according to the sheriff’s office.
As a result, Mansfield sustained incapacitating injuries and was flown to Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
Lewis was transported by ambulance to Baptist Health Paducah.
Authorities say the investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Burna Fire Department, Livingston County EMS and Air Evac Lifeteam 120.
