1 ejected, 1 extracted in single-vehicle crash in Christian County

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Hopkinsville Fire/EMS personnel responded to a single-vehicle accident Monday afternoon.

According to a social media post, HFD responded to the accident at the 4 mile-marker of I-169 (Pennyrile Parkway).

Officials say a vehicle hydroplaned and flipped multiple times.

HFD says one occupant was extracted from the vehicle and another was ejected.

Both victims are receiving treatment at Vanderbilt Clarksville Hospital.

Officials say the individual who was extracted from the vehicle sustained severe lower leg injuries.
