1 dead in fatal Muhlenberg County crash

GREENVILLE, Ky. – A woman is dead following a crash in Muhlenberg County.

According to the Greenville Police Department, officers responded to Robert L. Draper Way (KY 189 Bypass) Friday morning to a report of a single-vehicle collision.

The department’s preliminary investigation indicates that 70-year-old Glenda K. Mauk of Greenville, driving an SUV, was traveling north near Muhlenberg County High School when her vehicle went off the roadway and overturned.

GPD says the woman was flown to a Nashville hospital for treatment, where she later died.

Two passengers, an adult male and a juvenile, were transported to an Owensboro hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The identities of the victims have not been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
