Woman found stabbed after commercial vehicle hits Lexington home

LEXINGTON, Ky. – One woman is injured after authorities say she was found stabbed when a commercial vehicle hit a Lexington home on Thursday morning.

According to a social media post by the Lexington Police Department, shortly before 10 a.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of Valhalla Drive for a report of a commercial vehicle hitting a residence.

Authorities say upon arrival, they found a female victim with apparent stab wounds. Police say the vehicle was intruding into the home.

Police say they worked with emergency care personnel to render aid to the victim before she was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

This investigation is active and ongoing. Police say there does not appear to be an active threat to the public.
