Woman dies after reported stabbing in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TENN. – One woman is dead following a reported stabbing in Clarksville, Tennessee.
According to a social media post by the Clarksville Police Department, officers responded to a residence at 9:25 p.m. Sunday on Stillwood Drive following a report of a stabbing.
Authorities say upon arrival, officers located a 22-year-old woman with injuries. She was transported to an area hospital, where authorities say she was later pronounced dead.
Detectives with the Special Operation Homicide Unit, along with members of the Crime Scene Unit, responded to investigate and process the scene.
Cam’Ron Walker remained on scene when officers arrived and was taken into custody. He has since been charged with homicide and was booked into the Montgomery County Jail early Monday morning.
Authorities say the incident was determined to be domestic-related. The investigation remains ongoing.
