WKU wants your Bowling Green inspired poetry

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Western Kentucky University professors are calling all Bowling Green lovers to put pen to paper and write about the town.

A couple of WKU professors want to collect and publish your poetry about the town online to “Penned To Pin On Bowling Green”. 

The site launched just this January. Editors publish your BG inspired poems, and they pin your poem to an online map of Bowling Green, so readers can visit the spot that inspired your words. 

Professor & director of MFA program Tom C. Hunley said, “People who know Bowling Green and know poetry know that this is a poetic place, so we’re hoping for poems that mention places all over Bowling Green. Let’s fill the map up.”
