WKU to offer free WiFi to general public in 2 parking lots

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Western Kentucky University is turning two of its parking lots into free WiFi hotspots for the general public.

The hotspots are located in the Park St. and Creason St. lots, which are now open for public use for the remainder of the spring semester.

The hotspots will allow members of the community to connect to the internet from their own vehicle. Users are advised to stay inside their vehicles and keep a safe distance from others, according to Western Kentucky University.

Members of the public are welcome to join the WKU-Guest wireless network.

Once joined, simply open a web browser. Guests must agree to the acceptable use policy in order to join the network.

Members of the WKU community are encouraged to use the WKU-Secure network, and the WKU-Wireless network is also available in these locations.
