Website established to collect signatures for Warren Co. wet/dry vote

An online effort is now underway to collect additional signatures in support of making Warren County a wet county. 

The website, MakeWarrenWet.com, has been established to collect additional signatures before the August 24 deadline.

On the website, you are asked to type in information, such as your name and address. It then requires an electronic signature. 

Earlier this week, petitioners had collected just over 5,000 written signatures before the August 14 deadline. After reviewing a state statute, county staff decided to extend the deadline.

12,300 signatures are required to place the question on the November 6 ballot.
