Warren County Regional Jail hires first detective

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Regional Jail is excited to announce the hiring of a brand-new position for the jail, a detective.

Detective Tim Robinson began his shifts working the jail this week and will be assigned to work most cases that occur inside of the jail walls.

Yearly, the jail sees about 120 incidences inside of the jail that must be handled, so the position was much needed.

Robinson has a background at the Warren County Sheriff’s Office as well as with Warren County Emergency Management.

Jailer Stephen Harmon is looking forward to having the extra help with a well-trained detective working alongside him.

“Were able to utilize him in lots of investigations within the jail whether it be altercations or drug incidents or suspicious mail that comes in that sometimes has drug related materials on them so we’re excited about his expertise and what it will bring into our operation we’ve never had a detective on staff before,” said Jailer Stephen Harmon.

Robinson is also well versed in cyber security.
