USA Today: Bowling Green a top 50 most affordable area

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The city of Bowling Green is one of the most affordable cities in the country where everyone wants to live.

That’s according to a recent article in USA Today.

Using data from the U.S. Census Bureau, the newspaper identified the 50 most affordable metropolitan areas Americans are moving to.

In each of the metro areas on the list, the overall cost of living is lower than the national average and typical housing costs are more in line with area incomes.

Bowling Green is number 37 on the list.

According to the article, the cost of living in bowling green is 14.8% less than the national average.

Number one on the list is Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
