UPDATE: Urn donated to Glasgow Goodwill, store looking for owner

GLASGOW, Ky. – An unusual donation has a Glasgow Goodwill seeking answers.
On Tuesday, Goodwill Industries of Kentucky shared on social media that an urn had been donated to its Glasgow store and it hopes to find its owner.
Joshua Jones, Regional Manager of Retail, Goodwill Industries of Kentucky, took the urn to two funeral homes on Wednesday. Both funeral homes tried to identify the urn, but no ID tags were located inside the urn.
The staff believes the urn was donated during the 400-mile yard sale weekend. Glasgow Goodwill sees high volumes of donations during this event.
“We just want to make sure that it’s returned to the family as I’m sure it was donated by accident. It’s the right thing to do, respectfully,” said Jones.
Anyone with information on the urn is asked to call Glasgow Goodwill at 270.651.8178.
