UPDATE: Body found on Butler County property identified

ROCHESTER, Ky. – A body found earlier this month in Butler County has been identified.

According to trooper Katan Parker, public affairs officer for the Kentucky State Police Post 3, the body has been identified as 57-year-old James Eric Burden of Drakesboro.

This follows after KSP Post 3 says it responded to a report of an unresponsive male on a property at approximately 9 a.m. in Rochester on Monday, March 16.

Parker says troopers located the dead male on a property in the 8000 block of Rochester Road.

Parker says there is no immediate threat to the community.

The investigation is ongoing.
