UPDATE: 2 juveniles killed in Barren County crash

CAVE CITY, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police is investigating a fatal crash on I-65 in Barren County.

According to KSP Public Affairs Officer Katan Parker, troopers responded to an injury collision on I-65 near the 53.2 point marker at approximately 7 am Saturday.

KSP’s preliminary investigation shows that an SUV driven by 35-year-old Aleah Kroger, of Dayton, was traveling north when hervehicle left the right side of the roadway and struck a semi-truck that was parked on the right shoulder of I-65.

Parker says two juvenile passengers in Kroger’s SUV were pronounced dead at the scene.

Kroger was transported to TJ Samson Community Hospital and then the Medical Center at Bowling Green for treatment. She is in critical condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
