Two men arrested on drug charges in Barren County

Two men are locked up in the Barren County Detention Center following a traffic stop.

According to a news release from the Barren County Sheriff’s Office, deputies pulled over a pickup truck on Finney Road in reference to a stolen trailer investigation.

Deputies say they discovered multiple small baggies and a glass pipe on the side of the roadway, believed to have been thrown out the vehicle by the occupants.

Inside the truck, deputies say they found a baggie containing suspected meth inside a cigarette pack.

The driver, Joshua Miller, 33, of Scottsville, was arrested and charged with numerous drug and traffic offenses.

Miller’s passenger, Robert Shirley, 31, of Glasgow, was also arrested and charged with several drug offenses.

Both remain in the Barren County Detention Center.
