BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital announced newly renovated operating rooms Tuesday.

According to a release, the hospital has completed a seven-month renovation of its surgical department. TriStar Greenview says all 10 operating rooms have been upgraded to include advanced technology and equipment.

Upgrades include advanced surgical imaging technology that provides detailed, three-dimensional images during surgery, allowing surgeons to view a patient’s anatomy in real time and verify implant placement, according to the release.

“Every decision we made during this renovation was guided by one question: How will this help us provide better care for our patients?” said Mike Sherrod, chief executive officer of TriStar Greenview. “These upgrades give physicians and surgical teams advanced tools to support safe, precise care while creating an environment where they can continue delivering excellent care every day.”

According to the release, TriStar Greenview also advanced surgical imaging technology that provides detailed, three-dimensional images during surgery, allowing surgeons to view a patient’s anatomy in real time and verify implant placement.

The renovated suites also support the hospital’s robotic surgery program, providing physicians advanced technology for a range of minimally invasive and orthopaedic procedures.
