Toys for Tots Program announces changes and additions to delivery
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The Marines Toys for Tots Program will work hard to accomplish the mission of helping local children this Christmas, during this devastating time, with the help of our local community.
For those in need:
Families should call 270-562-0518 from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, December 13 until Wednesday, December 15 to request Christmas Assistance. These families, along with the others that made requests previously but were unable to pick toys up because of the devastation on December 11, should pick up toys from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 18, at the Toys for Tots North Pole (AKA Metals N More, 1040 Old Barren River Road).
Families unable to request toys via the telephone request line can come to the Toys for Tots North Pole (AKA Metals N More, 1040 Old Barren River Road) on Saturday, December 18 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. and pull their own toys without documentation or an appointment.
Toys for Tots is in need of toy and monetary donations. Here is how you can help:
MONETARY DONATIONS can be made at www.toysfortots.org, click “FIND YOUR LOCAL CAMPAIGN,” select KY, then select Warren County, then select “donate online” or mail the donation check to Toys for Tots, 7010 Morgantown Road, Bowling Green, KY 42101.
TOY DONATIONS can be made at any Bowling Green Fire Department. Donations made before Friday, December 17 will go to the families on Saturday, December 18. Donations made after December 18 will be distributed by the firemen on Christmas morning to children in the Housing Authority.
The Marines Toys for Tots program has been blessed and is extremely grateful for the outpouring of support year after year. This Christmas, we are asking for continued support so that our mission of “Every child deserves a Christmas” is complete and we can continue to deliver a Message of Hope!
