Students on week three of online schooling

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Students across the state are spending their week days at home rather than at school.

Students are doing class work from home and online.

While teachers are unable to interact face to face with students, many are finding alternate ways of educating.

Teachers across the commonwealth are utilizing video chat, while others are uploading videos for their students to watch.

One elementary school student, Amelia Baker, says being home means she can work at her own pace, but, she is hopeful to return to school.

Western Kentucky University and Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College will continue classes online for the rest of the semester while return dates for grade school remain uncertain.
