1 sustains severe injuries in Christian County crash
Christian County, KY- According to a release from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, on October 23rd, 2026, at 4:56 pm, deputies were called to a single-vehicle wreck in the 6000 block of Dawson Springs Road.
Authorities say a preliminary investigation indicates a car was traveling southbound when the driver swerved to avoid something in the road; it hit a drainage ditch and a sign, causing the car to overturn several times.
The driver was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to meet with a helicopter that took her to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville due to severe injuries.
Deputies were assisted by Westside Fire Department and Christian County Rescue.
