SKY Soccer hosting 2nd Curbside Cup soccer tournament

Curbside Ministries kids to storm field this Saturday

BOWLING GREEN, Ky – The annual Curbside Cup is taking over SKY Soccer in Bowling Green this weekend!

The event not only brings new players onto the field, but brings back the young men who started it all.

Curbside Ministries,  a local nonprofit that supports underprivileged youth, and SKY Soccer host the 2nd annual Curbside Cup on Saturday, June 11.

50 to 75 boys are expected to play, along with several others who grew up in the ministry and will referee the game.

Curbside Ministries Founder Terri Sheldon said, “To see that many of them coming back especially after maybe being estranged for several years, it’s pretty rewarding… so when they come back and serve, it’s definitely a perk.”

SKY Soccer is opening their fields to the event and will provide all jerseys and soccer balls while Donatos is delivering free pizza.

News 40 will be there and will bring you the story.
