Serbian Residents Celebrate Christmas Season

Residents in Serbia’s capital are preparing for Christmas celebrations.

In accordance with the Julian calendar, the Serbian Orthodox Church and its believers are celebrating Christmas eve on January 6th this year.

Many people have stocked up on traditional Yule log branches ahead of the religious holiday.

In front of Belgrade’s Saint Sava church, a Christmas village was set up. The Serbian patriarch visited the village, where he gave a blessing to those gathered.
