Scottsville police K-9 handler helps after pet locks itself in vehicle

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A member of the Scottsville Police Department is being recognized by a local business.
According to Alpha Pet Boarding, Training, Grooming and Daycare, on Monday, Scottsville K-9 handler Adam Morgan responded when a client’s pet locked itself in a vehicle that had been turned off.
The business stated the client was extremely upset, but Morgan assisted right before they broke the window. Morgan was able to unlock the vehicle, according to the business.
The Scottsville business thanks Morgan.
The Scottsville Police Department has since shared the post to social media, stating, “Our pets are just as important as humans. Great work by officer Morgan and K-9 Nova for their fast response. They were able to intervene making this situation a good outcome.”
