Salvation Army announces ways to support the community during the holidays

Salvation Army Faces Coronavirus Kettle Crunch

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Salvation Army encourages the public to give back this upcoming holiday season.

The organization says volunteer bell-ringing opportunities are now available. Individuals, families, businesses, churches, civic organizations and other groups can sign up at SalvationArmyVolunteer.org.

The Salvation Army says all donations collected benefit local communities and its mission throughout the year.

The community can also get involved with the Angel Tree Gifts program.

Individuals can purchase gifts for Angels, helping The Salvation Army to provide Christmas gifts to every child in the program.

The program is open and individuals can purchase gifts through the local Walmart Angel Tree registry at https://www.walmart.com/registry/RR/d6ba7d2a-258c-4709-a268-580aef0d208d.
