Purples Star Patrick Forbes Wins Mr. Baseball

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green High School’s Patrick Forbes brought home some new hardware last night.

Forbes is officially the 2022 Mr. Baseball winner after a dominant season this year.

This has been quite an impressive season for Purples athletics as Patrick Forbes and Turner Buttry have been named Mr. Baseball and Mr. Basketball respectively.

In his senior year, Forbes held a .563 batting average, 57 RBI’s, 13 doubles, 1 triple, and 15 home runs. He also pitched a 2.36 ERA with 61 K’s.
