Public invited to celebrate Barren County superintendent as he retires

GLASGOW, Ky. – A familiar face at Barren County Schools is preparing to move forward with retirement.

Several months ago, Barren County School District superintendent Bo Matthews announced his plans to retire this spring, and now the local community is invited to show Matthews their appreciation.

On Sunday, June 2, the public is invited to celebrate Matthews as he says “goodbye to the tie.”

The district says the reception is set for 2 to 4 p.m.at the Barren County High School Innovation Zone at 475 Trojan Trail in Glasgow.
