POLICE: Woman charged with wanton murder after hitting and killing the driver of a moped

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department spent several hours Friday working a collision between a vehicle and a moped.

The incident occurred on the corner of Louisville Road and River Street at 11:30 a.m.

Police say Jordan Spratt, 25, was hit from behind and knocked off of his moped in the roadway with life threatening injuries.

Spratt was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police say Donna Myers, 54, of Bowing Green was under the influence when the collision occurred.

Myers was arrested and taken to the Medical Center for a blood draw.

She is charged with wanton murder, driving under the influence 2nd offense and driving on a DUI suspended license.

Myers will be lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail after she is medically cleared.
