Phase 1c of vaccinations to begin March 1

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Kentucky will begin to expand their vaccination sites to individuals in Phase 1c beginning March 1. Governor Andy Beshear says the vaccine sites will still continue to prioritize people 70 years of age and older. 

Phase 1c includes people ages 16 to 64 with underlying medical conditions that may increase complications from getting COVID-19. 

The phase also expands to more essential workers including those who work in food service, public safety and health, energy, law, communications, media, housing construction and finance, information technology and transportation and logistics.
