Petition circling to allow voters to choose whether Warren County stays dry
An initiative is underway to make Warren County, a wet county.
According to an e-mail from the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, a petition is circling to place a question on the November ballot, on whether to permit alcohol sales in unincorporated areas of Warren County.
In the e-mail, the Chamber states it is not taking a position on the issue, but it does support your right to vote.
12,300 signatures are needed by August 14 for the option to be placed on the ballot. In order to sign the petition, you must be registered to vote in Warren County.
