Perry County man accused of sharing child sexual abuse material online

SCUDDY, Ky. – A Perry County man is accused of sharing child sexual abuse material online.

According to KSP, 32-year-old Brandon Sumner was arrested on Sep. 3 following an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation.

Sumner allegedly uploaded sexually explicit images of juveniles online.

KSP executed a search warrant for a home in Scuddy and seized equipment believed to be used to commit the offenses.

Sumner is charged with 20 counts of possessing matter portraying a minor under the age of 12 in a sexual performance. He was lodged at the Kentucky River Regional Jail.

The investigation is ongoing.
