Nolin Lake State Park temporary closure to end, officials announce reopening date

MAMMOTH CAVE, Ky. – A Kentucky state park closed by flooding in 2025 will reopen this month.

According to a social media post, Nolin Lake State Park will reopen August 7 at 10 am. The park will be open until 6 pm on days of operation.

The park was closed in the spring of 2025 after significant damage due to historic flooding.
