New lane reassignment finished on U.S. 79 in Logan County

LOGAN COUNTY, Ky. – Motorists in Logan County should be aware of a new lane reassignment.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 says the lane reassignment is at the intersection of U.S. 68 and U.S. 79 near Logan County High School.

KYTC District 3 says the right lane on U.S. 79 North has been changed from a straight-through and right-turn lane to only a dedicated right-turn lane.

The left lane remains a straight-through lane.

Crews finished the lane project on Wednesday. Motorists should be prepared to adjust to the new change.
