New restaurant alert! PJ’s Cafe comes to Brownsville
BROWNSVILLE, Ky. – To fulfill a community need, a Brownsville man and his business partner open a new restaurant.
Offering breakfast all day and some lunch items, PJ’s Cafe comes to Brownsville to fill up some space.
Owner and retired WKU professor Phillip Coleman said, “There’s nowhere to eat in this town, and there’s nowhere to get breakfast. People usually go to Bowling Green.”
When asked why Coleman and his partner decided to go with breakfast, he said, “I love breakfast, and I love it all day. When I go to Cracker Barrel, I order breakfast. We had a lot of friends and relatives encourage us to do breakfast and not cut it off.”
Of course the cafe will have more than just bacon and eggs. Coleman said there’s about 10 different sandwiches they’ll be making and some fried foods. He also boasted about their tea and coffee. the cafe opens on Friday, Dec. 16. They’ll be open 7 days a week from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. located at 1427 Hwy 259 N.
