New concert coming to Starry Fields Farm
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Bowling Green’s Starry Fields Farm has announced that it will be hosting its first music event Aug. 28th in partnership with Know Name.
The event will bring names in regional, independent country music to the city, including Daniel Donato, 49 Winchester and Kelsey Waldon.
In addition to music, there will be local food and drink vendors right from the heart of Kentucky.
Kirk Brandenberg, founder of Know Name, says that this event is a way to bring the artists full circle- many of them started their careers in Kentucky or are from the region. He also said it will be one of the largest venues in Bowling Green.
“This music festival is going to be a great event for the community to get around artists that are from Kentucky, telling stories from Kentucky. And whether they’re at a label or at management or writing songs in Nashville, they’re coming back now to Kentucky and it’s going to be just a great event to hear Kentucky stories,” said Brandenberg.
Tickets are general admission for $55. You can find them here.
