Nashville Aims to Host NFL Draft Again

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – After hosting one of the most successful NFL Drafts in recent memory last year, the city of Nashville is trying to land the event again in the near future.

On Tuesday afternoon, Butch Spyridon, the CEO of the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corporation, said the city has submitted an expression of interest to host the NFL Draft in either 2024 or 2025.

Last April, the three-day event brought over 600,000 fans and a record-setting $132.8 million in visitor spending to downtown Nashville.

In addition, more than 47.5 million fans watched the event on television, making it the most-watched draft in NFL history until this year’s all-digital broadcast.

The NFL Draft will take place in Cleveland in 2021, Las Vegas in 2022 and Kansas City in 2023.
