Multiple units respond to structure fire off of Kentucky 185

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – A two-story home is damaged after a reported structure fire Wednesday morning in Warren County.

Multiple fire units responded to a home along the 3700 block of Kentucky 185 near Day Road, according to the Richardsville Fire Department.

Richardsville crews reported being on scene around 9:48 a.m. According to the Warren County Fire Department System, crews located heavy fire in an attached garage.

Warren County Fire Chief Bill Rector says the fire advanced into the attic above the second story.

The extent of the damage is not yet confirmed. According to Rector, no injuries were reported.

Rector says the fire appears to have originated in the attached garage.

The Bowling Green Fire Department, along with personnel from Richardsville, Gott, Barren River and Smiths Grove responded to the scene. Crews say they were on scene for around a total of two hours.
