Multiple arrested after prostitution investigation in Simpson County

FRANKLIN, Ky. – Three people are behind bars on prostitution related offenses in Simpson County.
According to a uniform citation, on Thursday, the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force, the Kentucky State Police and Homeland Security conducted an investigation at Quality Inn in Franklin.
Authorities say 23-year-old Madison Nicholas of Holland, Ohio was located on an escort site. She then agreed to go to Quality Inn and met with an undercover agent, according to the citation.
When asked, authorities say Nicholas agreed to have sex with the undercover agent for payment.
After answering, Nicholas was arrested.
Authorities say Nicholas stated she traveled with a male subject, identified as 27-year-old Kasey Hatcher of Bonnieville, to the hotel for illegal sex acts. According to the citation, there were two small children in Nicholas’ vehicle at the hotel. Both children were placed into the custody of the Department for Community Based Services, according to the citation.
Hatcher faces charges of promoting prostitution, failure to notify address change to Department of Transportation and second-degree wanton endangerment.
Nicholas faces charges of prostitution and second-degree wanton endangerment.
In addition, another uniform citation states a woman, identified as 33-year-old Ellen Lockhart of Bowling Green, posted an ad online offering sex in a separate case.
Authorities say Lockhart was contacted by an undercover agent and agreed to meet. According to the citation, Lockhart agreed to have sex for money.
Lockhart was detained and faces charges of prostitution, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia – buy/possess.
All three individuals remain at the Simpson County Jail.
