Motorcyclist dies in Hardin County crash

HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. – One person is dead following a crash in Hardin County.

According to a release, the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle collision in the 6900 block of Rineyville Big Springs Road on Saturday afternoon.

A motorcycle traveling west crossed into the eastbound lane and collided with an SUV, according to a preliminary investigation.

HCSO says the motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries.

He was later pronounced dead at Baptist Health Hardin, according to the release.

The motorcyclist’s identity has not been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
