Med Center Health Foundation awards more than $50,000 in scholarships to local students

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Med Center Health Foundation has awarded more than $50,000 in scholarships to local students for the 2026-27 academic year.
According to Med Center Health, the foundation awarded a total of seven scholarships to 10 students residing in south-central Kentucky.
Med Center Health says it is honored to be a part of the students’ academic journey.
Listed below are the recipients of each scholarship:
- Floyd Ellis Scholarship
- Given to a full-time student at WKU who is a dependent child of a WRECC employee.
- Savanah Warwick – Greenwood High School
- Carrel K. Sumner Family Memorial Scholarship
- Given to up to 2 students who are dependent children of MCH employees.
- Adalyn Skipworth – Allen County-Scottsville High School
- Emma Terrell – South Warren High School
- Charles M. Stewart Scholarship
- Given to up to 2 WKU students who are dependent children of MCH employees.
- Lyla Atwell – South Warren High School
- Herbert A. Oldham Scholarship
- Awarded to a WKU student who is a member of an underrepresented population and who is a graduate of a high school in Warren County.
- Lily White – Bowling Green High SchooL
- Madison Stockton – Bowling Green High School
- Helen Dinning Scholarship
- Awarded to graduates of Franklin-Simpson High School who are full-time sophomores, juniors, or seniors at WKU and who are currently enrolled in a health-related degree program.
- Charlotte Vaughn – Franklin-Simpson High School
- Gary Alan Woodward Scholarship
- For a Logan County senior who lives in Logan County and has been accepted into a Kentucky college or university.
- Robert Cooper – Logan County High School
- The Medical Center at Scottsville Scholarship
- Awarded to graduates of Allen County-Scottsville High School who are beginning freshmen at WKU.
- Jonah Hamby – Allen County-Scottsville High School
- Kennedy Carter – Allen County-Scottsville High School
