Man stabbed in Edmonson County has ‘life-threatening’ injuries

BROWNSVILLE, Ky. – Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Tuesday afternoon stabbing in which one man sustained “life-threatening” injuries, Sheriff Shane Doyle said.

The man, whose name has not been released, was taken to Warren County and then flown by medical helicopter to an area trauma center, Doyle said.

As of 5:30 p.m. Edmonson County law enforcement was getting conflicting information from the involved parties, he said.

Deputies were in the process of obtaining a search warrant just before 9 p.m. to search the location where this incident occurred, Doyle said.
