Man indicted on charges following daughter’s death

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man has been indicted on multiple charges in connection with the death of his daughter.

Damian Bowden, 49, was indicted Wednesday by a Warren County grand jury on charges of murder, abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence, theft or disposition all others between $1,000 and $1,000,000 and theft or disposition all others between $1,000 and $10,000.

On Sept. 9, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office located the body of Damian Bowden’s daughter, Daquanna Bowden, 30, in his Payton Landing apartment off of Scottsville Road.

The Metro Nashville Police Department located the victim’s vehicle in Nashville, Tennessee on Sept. 23 as authorities continued to search for Damian Bowden. WCSO sheriff Brett Hightower said items found within the daughter’s vehicle revealed additional evidence related to the investigation.

On Oct. 18, the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested Damian Bowden in Nashville, Tennessee.

He remains in the Warren County Detention Center on a $500,000 cash bond. According to court documents, arraignment is scheduled for Dec. 27 at 9 a.m.
