Man charged with stealing vehicles

BROWNSVILLE, Ky. – Sunday afternoon, the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office was called to William Simmons Road concerning the possibility of a stolen U-Haul at a home.

When deputies got there, they saw the U-Haul on the property.

Law enforcement awaited the arrival of the homeowner, Terry Dale Finn, who pulled up to the driveway and then sped off, according to a release.  

According to police, the SUV Finn was driving was also stolen.

Officials obtained a search warrant and found two more stolen vehicles, suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, cash, and pills.

Finn is charged with receiving stolen property $10,000 or more, possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and was taken to the Hart County Jail.
