Man arrested on rape, sodomy charges involving two juveniles
GLASGOW, Ky. — On Friday, the Barren County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on first-degree rape, two counts, and first-degree sodomy.
On Tuesday, May 31, a Barren County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a sexual abuse complaint.
According to a citation by the sheriff’s office, Dwayne J. Muse, 22, of Franklin admitted to engaging in sexual acts with two juveniles, the first incident taking place May 28 and the second on May 29.
The sheriff’s office stated the man forced a 13-year-old to engage in sex with him May 28.
The 13-year-old said to police that Muse had told her he had a firearm in his vehicle and implied force, stated the citation.
The citation further stated that police learned Muse digitally penetrated a 15-year-old girl the next day.
Muse admitted to both crimes during an interview with detectives, according to police.
He was arrested and taken to the Barren County Detention Center.
