Man arrested after allegedly fleeing police on motorcycle in Todd County

TODD COUNTY, Ky. – One man is behind bars after an alleged motorcycle pursuit from Todd County into Logan County over the weekend.
According to a uniform citation, the Guthrie Police Department was conducting a traffic stop on Saturday when a motorcycle passed by without a license plate.
Authorities say they attempted to stop the motorcycle, however, it began traveling over 135 miles per hour.
Police say the pursuit crossed into Logan County and lasted approximately 30 minutes.
Authorities say a total of 10 officers were involved.
The operator eventually wrecked into a field and was taken into custody without incident, authorities say.
The operator, 25-year-old Christian Dallas of Franklin, Kentucky was arrested.
Authorities say Dallas received medical clearance before being transported to the Todd County Detention Center.
While searching Dallas’s belongings, authorities say they located around 2 grams of methamphetamine and one meth pipe.
Dallas is charged with speeding 26 mph or greater over the speed limit, reckless driving, first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, second offense (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia – buy/possess.
