Man airlifted to hospital after crash with dump truck on Russellville Road
8 p.m. UPDATE: Authorities have released additional details on a traffic crash that occurred Wednesday on Russellville Road near the Warren County/Logan County like.
According to Kentucky State Police, the driver airlifted from the scene is, Blake Jones, 23, of Bowling Green. Jones was taken by helicopter to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. where he is currently listed in stable condition.
The driver of the dump truck has been identified as James Embry, 41, of Morgantown. Police say he refused medical treatment on the scene.
Through their investigation, police learned that Embry had just pulled onto Russellville Road from Stamps Road, when his dump truck was struck from behind by Jones.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Kentucky State Police troopers are investigating a bad crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Warren County.
According to Kentucky State Police, the crash happened on Russellville Road just before 1:30 p.m. near the Warren County-Logan County line.
Investigators say the driver of one truck crashed into the back of a dump truck.
The driver of the truck that crashed into the dump truck had to be airlifted to a hospital.
That man’s condition is not known at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
