Major Terry Flatt with Glasgow Police Department announces retirement

GLASGOW, Ky. – A years-long team member of the Glasgow Police Department is announcing retirement effective Sept. 1.
On Monday, Aug. 3, Major Terry Flatt, public information officer for the Glasgow Police Department, confirmed the announcement through email.
From information about reported shootings to serious crashes in the Glasgow city limits, Flatt has served as a point of communication with local media, which in turn could provide details to the public.
According to Flatt, Chief Guy Howie has not yet appointed another public information officer, however, one will be in place by the beginning of September.
